The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me,
for the Lord has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor.
He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted
and to proclaim that captives will be released
and prisoners will be freed.
2 He has sent me to tell those who mourn
that the time of the Lord’s favor has come,
and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies.
3 To all who mourn in Israel,
he will give a crown of beauty for ashes,
a joyous blessing instead of mourning,
festive praise instead of despair.
In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory. IS 61:1-3

So in the opening scene of the " Lion King" we are shown the beauty of God's creation while the song " The Circle of Life" is being played. I can't help but think of being in the African safari as the sun rises and you actually do see the community of wildlife alongside each other for a brief moment (no killing, just grazing, roaming, and some sleeping) But also in this opening scene we are introduced to the future of the pride in the birth and anointing of Simba by the baboon Rafiki. Of course as the movie progresses you see Simba grow, make mistakes, and evolve into the role of the King of the Pride, but what about you?
Isaiah talks about the anointing of God being upon your life, and before you quickly run from the fact GOD HAS anointed you too for greatness....remember two verses besides this keynote one Hebrews 2:6-8 Reminds us that we were made just a little lower than the angels, and crowned with glory.... and Matt. 28:18-20 commissions EVERY believer to GO teach, make disciples and baptize.
I pray you see and pursue every opportunity today to bless GOD and the people He will present to you today with His love through your words and deeds. It's the Circle of Life...it began with Him, He then created man, he failed, so He redeemed us through the blood of Christ, so then came you, with the purpose of your life blessing others to lead them back to Him. LGLP!
